Omg this was the best random find for us visiting to check out NU. So inviting and AMAZING food! I will always say to go there. The BLT was amazing, the Po Boy was fantastic. The Peach Cobbler BBQ sauce for the wings was so freaking good. The Chicken Salad is the only chicken salad I have liked.

Loved, loved, loved the food! The pork chops, and shrimp and grits were out of this world- so full of mouthwatering flavor. All the sides were so good. We had the Mac and cheese, yams, and greens. The cornbread was tender and sooo good. We should haven taken pictures before we started eating but once we started, we couldn’t stop! I’m definitely gonna be back!

We wanted to try something new today for lunch and Free Form Kitchen did not disappoint! The food is made fresh and was so tasty. We had the pulled pork sliders, chicken sandwich, coleslaw, grits, fries and a side salad. We were so happy with our meal. The portions were generous so we both have leftovers! We want to come back to try other items on the menu and would love to try their breakfast options (only served on weekends currently). Nina, the owner, introduced herself and she was so warm and inviting. It’s cafeteria style. You can order at the counter, at a kiosk or at the table using a QR code. You pick up your order from a window. There was also beautiful art hanging up in the space by local Chicago artist, Imani T. Evans. We were so impressed with our meal and will be back!

I ordered online and picked up my to-go order of the Blackened Po Boy which comes with 2 sides(I selected fries and side salad). Oh my! Everything was perfectly seasoned! The blackened catfish was so so tasty! I especially loved the seasoned fries so much I wanted a double order. Salad: I plan to save for a later time to enjoy. I shall return to order again their delicious food.

This is my new favorite place. It has a very friendly atmosphere. It is perfect for large groups The food and the environment has that homie feeling. They have a very good variety of dishes . The food is excellent it has that homemade flavor. I highly recommend that chicken wings with the house sauce. The coffee is great from a local vendor . The plates are begin app for sharing period. The tacos are also good. For breakfast I recommend the vegetable omelette. It comes with two sides. It's absolutely delicious ! The staff is Great they are very welcoming. The restaurant has a lot of paintings from local artists that you can purchase.
